All Scriptstuff courses consist of three 60-minute one-to-one personal sessions that will fit in with any busy schedule. Your course will start whenever you are ready, and completion can be anything from three weeks to a year, depending on how much time you have available and how fast you move through each stage.
Your tutor, Mike Took, has over 30 years of experience as a freelance writer, in a career that has included multiple literary sales and commissions of screenplays, TV scripts, stand-up comedy, poetry, social media content, educational resources, business media, and journalism. A Theatre Studies graduate from the UK's prestigious Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, Mike has a Master of Arts Degree in Screenwriting from Falmouth University, ranked the #1 university in the UK for arts programmes, and has won multiple awards in a wide range of festivals and international screenplay contests.

This one-to-one course examines the structure behind successful storytelling, and will sharpen your understanding of elements like narrative insight, active questioning and dramatic juxtaposition. Each personalised session can be tailored by you to help you deliver a resounding presentation, tell better anecdotes, understand film and television templates, or even develop that book idea you've been pondering for so long.
This one-to-one bespoke course is designed for those who either want to start a specific writing project of their own design, or are already part-way through something. Each session can be tailored to your requirements, whether that be reviewing the fundamentals of storycraft, getting feedback on your idea and discussing a way forward, addressing any difficulties you have found with your writing process, or anything else connected with your own writer's journey.
This one-to-one course is designed to stimulate, excite, and inspire the mind with creative wordplay, simple comprehension challenges, and easy on-the-page exercises that delve deep into the beauty of language. Each personalised session can encourage you to maybe start your own portfolio of creative work, develop writing as your new hobby, or perhaps just mprove your vocabulary to impress your friends.
